If your work is an extension of who you are, what kind of content can I offer to the world?

I asked myself today:
if my work here is an extension of who I am, ⁣⁣
what kind of content can I offer to the women of the world? ⁣⁣
the world doesn’t need any more aesthetics, ⁣⁣
for perfection is to feed an ego that doesn’t need feeding.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
instead,
we need more women to live a brave vulnerability.⁣⁣
we need more women to tell their story behind their masked insecurities.⁣⁣
we need more women to show up for themselves ⁣⁣
in their mess and unreadiness, ⁣⁣
with no make up and hair that hasn’t been washed for days.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
you see, healing work is not always glamorous, ⁣⁣
it’s how we tend to these wounds of ours⁣⁣
with the kind of movement that ⁣⁣
embodies more compassion than judgement.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
a movement that is less doing, ⁣⁣
and more feeling. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
I knew that it is through my humility ⁣⁣
I’d find great strength and purpose— ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
an alignment with each and every stride, ⁣⁣and so I thought, I just want to be me.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
I just want to be free. ⁣⁣

📖 Day 4/100: ⁣⁣
Vulnerability is the willingness to show up for yourself— to be seen and heard as you are. ⁣⁣
Today on top of the page, write the word “Vulnerable.”⁣⁣
What does this word mean to you? What does the word “vulnerable” feel or look like to you? ⁣⁣
Have you allowed yourself to feel vulnerable lately?⁣⁣
⁣⁣
